How can I get AUTH=DIGEST-MD5 AUTH=CRAM-MD5 removed from the CAPABILITY listing, and
still have cyrus use PAM for authentication?

Hi,
I am delivering via LMTP from Sendmail 8.11.4 to Cyrus v2.0.14-NAMESPACE-r3 using the
local socket.
Deliver is working most of the time, but I am noticing errors:

The docs are good and should be read.

I had the same problem, and I had a problem with the sasldb. After going through the
archive for the sasldb problem, it said that I had to use the sasldbpasswd program to
enter a user into the sasldb database (/etc/sasldb). On doing so, I noticed that I no
longer needed to enter the password

PAM users,
I can get Cyrus-IMAPd-2.0.13 running well using /etc/passwd for authentication, and
now wish to get it running under PAM. I set up the /etc/imapd.conf file to have the
right pwcheck_method, but it does not want to work and logs to syslog:

All,
Here is my solution to my original post (when i accidently assumed the alias CYRUS
LIST :)
I have since used the UW mail tools (imap-utils.tar.Z), which does need you to have
the c-client source from the UW IMAP server (imap-2000c.tar.Z), compiled but not
installed. These are from ftp://
