After running reconstruct - r -f -G on both client and replica and after
about 22 hours all seems OK with no indications of any syncing errors.
There were some errors on some mailboxes while the reconstruct was run
but none since.

I disabled -v -l from my sync_client options so the logs would not blow
out - one was 20MB in no time.
Replication is working as I checked an email on being delivered to the
master was on the replica in a flash.

The reason I wanted to install 2.4.4 was that a user was getting
Thunderbird (IMAP) to freeze and I suspect it was due to a locking
problem - the user is a PA to Head of School with about 9,800 email in
INBOX. No other users have the problem or have reported a similar problem.

I use with SquirrelMail and it does speed up the transfers as it caches
the users credentials with s hit ratio near 20:1.
