Hi
I'm using Cyrus 2.1.1 on XFS on Software RAID with XFS enabled 2.4.9
RedHat Kernel. No problems so far but I can't really tell since it is
not heavy loaded. It's just a test machine. Anyway I suspect you should
upgrade to the 2.4.9 Kernel since the 2.4.3 has not passed my stress
test which 2.4

I've read many articles in the archives concerning the use of cyrus in
virtual hosting environments... Most of them are fairly old tho.
Did this support get added in?
Could someone point me to a HOWTO or other documentation on the subject?
Thanks
I've got cyrus working happily sending and recieving mail... everything
works very well.
Well, I decided to get Sieve functionality working so I could do vacation
and forwarding kinds of services...
Unfortunately my vacation attempts have failed.
Mail delivers just fine. Unfortuantely no vacati

Regarding Cyrus on Debian, do you have any details on how to get SASLv2

Tom,
Look in the sieve directory (sievedir in imapd.conf, I think) for the
script you uploaded. You may need to create a symlink there to
"default", like so:
ln -s /usr/sieve/j/julesa/default.script /usr/sieve/j/julesa/default
I don't know why it doesn't create the symlink automatically, but

Hello,
I'm using cyrus 2.0.16 alongside postfix 20010228-pl06. All
authentication and virtual tables are done through a mysql database.
The problem is that I'm seeing a lot of failures in the queuing such as
this:
Feb 19 14:21:05 mail postfix/pipe[16800]: 1EBBB1B4467:
to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
I am trying to get sieve to work with postfix without any luck so far. The
timsieved process starts okay and I am able to use sieveshell to load a
script to the server. I have compiled the sieve 'test' program that comes
with the imap server and run it against my script - no errors are reported
Come on y'all.. I know you are better than this! :-) Only one reply?
Doesn't anyone else have anything to contribute? It's still broken.
Do I need to completely destroy and rebuild deliver.db ? Do I need to
archive and rebuild every single mailbox?
I have already rebuild 2.0.16 three times,

Hi,
I'm having problem with sendmail not delivering my mails to Cyrus.
It seems to be a permission related problem as I get it to work (deliver
to cyrus) when I start sendmail as root from the prompt with sendmail
-bD (or -bd).
When run from inetd, i get an looping problem:

I am running cyrus & have had for quite sometime with no problems.

We had the same problem and ended up writing expect-scripts

Hi,
You got a few options:
1. ldap -> all the different ldap admin tools (www.open-it.org, search
the archives for general etc.)
2. phpcyradm (for adding mailboxes)
Remember that cyrus makes a distinction between beeing authorized and
having a mialbox. I.e. if you use ldap, you'll have to add
Hi,
I'm having problems finding a web based utility to create
users/passwords and manage quotas. I've tried Websieve but that just seems
to be a management tool for exisiting users. I've tried phpcyradm, which
can create users but doesn't allow to set passwords.

Hello
I've been using the usual search engines to try and find a primer or howto
for sieve without any luck so far. Does anyone know of a URL which may help
or perhaps some documentation of their own I may have a look at.
Many thanks in advance
