Henrique (and others):

Regarding Cyrus on Debian, do you have any details on how to get SASLv2
working properly? I've compiled Cyrus 2.1.2 and am using the Debian
packages of SASL 2.1.0. My goal is to implement SASL authentication via
saslauthd to PAM.

Currently, when using imtest I get the error "Authentication failed. no
mechanism available. The logs show that imtest is unable to dlopen
libdigestmd5.so and a bunch of other shared libs. If I symlink those
libs from /usr/lib/sasl2/* to /usr/lib/ those errors go away, but I
instead get "unable to get entry point sasl_canonuser_init" and
"undefined symbol: sasl_canonuser_init" several times, followed by an
"imtest: No worthy mechs found". The imtest client still gives the same
error.

Thanks,
Daniel
