Just a dinky note to mention my upgrade from 2.0.7 to 2.0.16 went really well.
It did fix my quota issues with quota -f not working. All users now have their quota
roots!
Only snag was I had to add /usr/ccs/bin to my path to get /usr/ccs/bin/ar to run
within the make scripts.

the latest (2.0.16) release. I have 2.0.16 installed on FreeBSD
4.3-release, and I would still like to use procmail for filtering. I

you could also try Eudora.
i am using it for ages, and love the search capability.
also, it is free, and support multi users, pop/imap mime, and much much
more.
the only down size is the it has problems with outlook rtf (the default
way for outlook to send it messages).

Hi, have you:
a) remove all references to cyrus from ined.conf.
b) started cyrus as a independant daemon ('/usr/cyrus/bin/master &' I think)
c) What is your setup in regard of os and authentication info.
d) Have you read through the cyrus faq? (cyrus-utils.sf.net/faq)
