Now i've done this 4 points which you gave to me.
The master process are running, but in the /var/log/messages file the
following lines comes in:

if i run "imtest -p imap localhost" i got this:
C: C01 CAPABILITY
"telnet localhost 143" shows this:

telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
I hope you have an solution for these things, the Berkley Database are:
/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.0/

Hi, have you:
a) remove all references to cyrus from ined.conf.
b) started cyrus as a independant daemon ('/usr/cyrus/bin/master &' I think)
c) What is your setup in regard of os and authentication info.
d) Have you read through the cyrus faq? (cyrus-utils.sf.net/faq)
