Truly, i do not really understand such hard policy for NOT including
perl modules in tree. I know that perl herd is understaffed, but i do
not think that this is generally a problem, cause they do not maintain
recently added packages, but proxy maintainers do.
So, basically, yes, i vote for easing policy a bit.
P.S. CCing maintainer of modules, that i have commited as a proxy, maybe
he also wants to say something regarding this.

As were said before, blindly stabling vanilla-sources when

"Remove the distinction between ~arch and arch" for any package is not

i have some sort of bad expirience with it and uclibc[1]).
Also kernel has apropriate option to enable it during build.
However, i am not skilled with GCC internals, so i can say nothing about
perfomance impact this flag may have. Maybe toolchain guys can bring
light on this ;-)

here dependency
consistency is someway broken(Prefix) makes sense.
Unless somebody wants to clean up some mess i have seen in Prefix deps
by fulling package.use.mask in prefix profiles with tons of deps.
Anyway, we have apropriate options in repoman for checking on dev and
exp profiles, and, re
rop stable keywords.
And if they are silent - dropping keywords with all revdeps by
maintainer itself when other arches are done with stabilization.

aintainer should test this also when bringing new version to
tree to prevent breakages. But stabilizing is different story and those
who putting apropriate version to stable should be 100% sure that it
would not break revdeps.

Little clarification - i hope you mean "move to maintainer-needed@",
cause maintainer-wanted is for new packages only ;-)

I am sorry, but it is games team not related to gamerlay. No offense,
but gamerlay guys sometims just do their job.
So, MAKE it related to Games team and fix stuff, considered broken.

So, what's the problem about adding such reviewed repo(more specifically
- a branch) to gamerlay except your personal negative attitude to whole
project itself?
