Hi all,
Here's a formal +1 (binding) vote from an IPMC member. I'm not sure, yet, what
part of this process we're doing incorrectly, but it stays awfully quiet when
we post here...and I believe we need 2 more IPMC votes to get this officially
released?
As Gerben mentioned last month (see below
Thanks for the votes, folks!
I'm on both the Incubator PMC and on the Apache Annotator PPMC, but wasn't sure
if I could "double dip" with my vote. 🙂
If I may, then +1 (again), and here's the link to my vote on the dev@annotator

Here's the progress I've made so far on address this:

It would be great to have someone more "in the know" give that a look through.
Thanks!

Hi all!
We've recently had several mentors bow out of mentoring due to their other

more folks who can help us navigate the Incubator process.

I'd very much like to un-log-jam the Annotator Proposal which I submitted back

I'd like to propose (early!) that you consider changing the name from Pirk,
however. It's too close to things that could easily be offensive or
misunderstood.
My personal recommendation would be "Piranha"

Hey James,
One quick note about the temporary web site you have up. It's probably best to
add "(incubating)" after the name and explain the projects status on the home
page. Until the project makes it through incubation there is technically no
"Apache Juneau" just "Apache Juneau (incubating)."
