oh btw this is my gcc -v output:
$ gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: i486-linux-gnu
Configured with: ../src/configure -v
--enable-languages=c,c++,java,f95,objc,ada,treelang --prefix=/usr
--with-gxx-include

Their "Detailed bug reporting instructions" is not very "detailed". I have no
idea what I'm doing. What files do I provide you? I never have to `run gcc -v
-save-temps all-your-option

Anyone know what's wrong and how I can fix it?

I have upgraded to ubuntu/kubuntu 5.10 and I am STILL getting this error
whenever I try to run `make` on ANYTHING. Does anyone have any suggestions? I
would really like to get this figured out. Maybe reinstall

All of my hardware appears to be working fine. I have this problem where
programs spontaneously disappear on me without any error message and the
process is killed, but I really have no clue what to look for

I just tried to install the latest version of gcc and I still got this error. I
don't know how to get around it.
gcc -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -O2 -I. -I../../gcc-4.0.2/libiberty/../include -W
e] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mike/Desktop/Gaim/gaim-1.5.0'
make: *** [all] Error 2
I am not sure what it means by preprocessed source. Please let me know what
files I need to include and I will update this bug report.
