Well, I removed fluidsynth with sudo apt-get remove fluidsynth did the git thing: git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/fluidsynth/code-git fluidsynth cmade it as per the instructions, and after getting rid of the old fluidsynth library, it works, but I still have the same problem. Telnet fails.
