Back in e16, there was a way to make lines extend out from windows to line
them up. I have a friend who would love to upgrade to e17, but he can't
find out how to make the lines appear. Does anyone know how to make them
appear? I would appreciate any advice on how to enable them, or even a

Today I took some time to update the E17 CVS Updater (originally from
Andrew Sevcsik) and bumped the release up to 0.8.
Currently, it supports much more CVS modules, fixes path specifications
for old ones and adds some other things.

Sometimes, when I iconify my xmms, I can't see its icon in iconbox.
In such case I have empty space in iconbox. To deiconify xmms, I click this
space and get it.
Strange behavior.

I tried to use screen with my prefer term Eterm.
On eterm.org I found info on using screen theme in eterm.
Doing all steps manualy i have encounter strange error.
So I have:
screen version 4.00.02 (FAU) 5-Dec-03
Eterm 0.9.2 with +ESCREEN

Today I tried to use eesh to customize my E desktop.
But I can't understand how can I use set_bg or use_no_bg commands.
eesh help on this commands is empty (just enigmatic TBD ;)
What does "TBD" mean?
Any advice are welcome. I need to change bg through bash script.

I've been trying to install all the EFL libraries so I can run Engage,
and have hit a snag with edje 0.5.0. Everything goes fine until I sudo
make install, when it gives me this error:
/usr/bin/ginstall -c .libs/libedje_edit.lai /usr/local/lib/libedje_edit.la
/usr/bin/ginstall: cannot stat `.libs/
The evas examples on the website correspond to the old version of evas
that some of the outdated programmer guides document.
I was going to attempt to update them to work with the new CVS version
of evas however I never got around to completing that task (as I still
am new to evas as well.)
