and the version on the STLinux is 2.3.4

has anyone e17 (build from SVN) and vmware unity (based on vmware
workstation 6.5.1.126130) up and running?
When I click the "unity mode" button in vmware workstation the GUI of
workstation GUI terminates. By configuration the virtual machine is
running in the background.
There's no error
