I am toying around with an embedded environment and E17 would be the perfect GUI. Someone told me e17 would run under directfb, but now I am seeing that they might have been wrong and only evas works with directfb. I understand that E17 is a window manager for X, but it would be so perfect. I also know I can run XdirectFB but running under directfb would be the best option. Am I right in deducing that the e17 shell environment and associated apps (modules, itask-ng, etc...) wont run under directfb at this time? Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, i searched and coulnt find an easy answer!
