I'm using DR17 on Ubuntu Edgy for sometime time now and couldn't be happier with it. I use the get_e.sh build script found in Rastermans file section, I don't recall that I have modified it much though I probably have. I haven't used kde or gnome wm's in so long now I'm not sure I'd remember how

Well, if you're running Ubuntu, you won't be using Suse packages and stuff on it. Bad Idea. There are Ubuntu repos at edevelop.org, as I recall, and morlenxus' build script works well. And yes, March 3, 2006 cvs is sooo out of date. There are several new features that make it worth fighting

I get this error upon updating to Didier's evas.x86_64 0.9.9.035-1.20061025 enlightenment: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libevas.so.1: undefined symbol: FT_Get_TrueType_Engine_Type just wondering if I am missing a library, have a wrong one installed? perhaps it is time for me bite the bullet
