problem: E-Time epplet opens multiple instances at login.

I've long had this problem that when I reboot (not very often) or log out
and log back in. Note it doesn't happen if I just restart enlightenment.

You do not need to erase it, e17 uses the .e directory.

I just dealt with this the other day. The problem (in my case) was that
I had other Imlib2 libraries (and loaders) installed.
Check for imlib2 in /usr/lib and /usr/local/lib
Also check 'rpm -qa |grep -i imlib2'
Make sure you don't have any other Imlib2 library installed. If you do,
remove it

no! it creates an ~/.e dir, so you don't need to remove e16's conf dir.

configure errors, the script cannot find the imlib2_db_loaders... I have
installed the imlib2 package and my PATH env looks to be ok. Any ideas?

I'm new to enlightenment and to this list.
The first thing I wanted to change in e16 were the key
configurations.
I decided to put most commands on the window-key, since this one
isn't used by other programs.
I wanted for example that an Eterm opens when i press "window-key"
and "e"
