Hi,
I'm using X 4.3.0 and Linux 2.4.22. I've got the fb console at
1600x1200x24, X running at 1280x1024x16 and TV out as a second frame
buffer. When running pretty much any opengl stuff, I get a very strange
rainbow lighting/texture effect like in these screenshots:

I just wanted to let every body know where this sat. Unfortunately I will not have
time to work
on it much this moth, I have to get my bills straightened ought. I did look into it
and found

I was thinking of creating a new module like shadowfb.

I actually took a brief look. The 6326 is a simple PIO engine that needs
triangles fed it the right way. I've actually hacked up code borr
Factoring it out is not a problem. the question is what to do with it
when I pull it out. create an external external libray like
libXMergedFB.so or something like that? what's the preferred method?
any existing examples I can look at?

Obviously 5.0.2 is the last version of Mesa based on the old directory
layout and should be fairly easily dropped back into XFree86 too.
Then, we can start working on bringing in Mesa 5

Eric,
Now that you are finishing up the sis 300 series DRI port, how hard
would it be to add support for the 6326? there were databooks for it
flaoting around and there was a utah-glx driver as well. It's a pretty
basic 3D engine; it's it similar to the 300 series, it might be trivial

I hate to be a pest but can someone let me know where we stand with the
patch that allows Neverwinter Nights to run with current DRI?

Good question. Don't know.
On another note
Now that Mesa 5.0.2 is out the door, maybe we should tag the trunk and
merge with XFree86 ?
Obviously 5.0.2 is the last version of Mesa based on the old directory
layout and should be fairly easily dropped back into XFree86 too.
Then, we can start working on bringing in Mesa 5.1 ready for the 6.0

Anyway, I was finally able to access DRI cvs (from
dri.freedesktop.org), so I pulled the latest tree and created a radeon
mergedfb patch against it. I've done some testing and it seems to work
fine. The patch o
