Ok sorry I wasn't more specific. First of all, I run at 1024x768 at 16 bit
color for the most part(this is the depth where I see errors). I'm currently

Is anyone working on DRI support for the Radeon 8500?
I have heard that the Readon 7500 is supported on the tcl-0-0 branch,
so I checked that out. I can see from my XFree86 log file that it doesn't
support the 8500.

I downloaded the mach64 snapshot this morning and Tuxracer looks very
strange. It looks like it's only redrawing certain parts of the display
(the mountains), but the rest is just a mangle of pixels, which
"sort-of" look like Tux...
