Yep, add it to the .htaccess in the top level site is the convention used -
there are other examples in there already.

I'm a bit late to catch up with this, but had a few things to note as I read
through the thread - sorry to top-top-reply.
I agree we should definitely consider a logo competition to augment this set of
contributions.
We should be cautious about using images from Native American culture - there
asn't had a lot of
legitimate editors for a while, though.
Codehaus is working through automated means of removing the spam, but we
probably need to decide what to do with how to get people access and maintain
it if we're to continue to use it in that way.

seems that the place you were building this was unable to reach
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 at the time of the build (connection timed out) -

deprecated, description, since, etc. were already addressed in the earlier
thread.
Olivier, I know you already have this working with the current annos... would
this fit or am I way off base? :)

eate a new annotation/attribute to obtain the maven-internal bits; and if
that has happened then...
- move @required to be an attribute of @parameter, as it makes no sense for the
other annotations
- drop @readonly, as it's redundant on every type of annotation
