We followed instructions to make it so our pulse audio didn't have
extreme volume swings.
We have found no such instructions for pipewire, and this would be an
option desired intensely for all desktop audio.
We upgraded from 22.04 to 24.04.

I included multiverse and univers and apt-get updated in attempt to
resolve it, so I tried it with network, and with more repositories
activated.

On my netbook, once I managed to get to a regular KDE desktop,
I clicked on the install aditional drivers to get my broadcom wifi working.
11.10 had this working/ an option to install aditional non free
software if I recall.
anyway, the big bug here is jockey kept grind
I also do not have gconf, is there a work arround without gconf?

I experienced this problem too. Kinda hard to remember my wifi passwords...
