Kiosk, Ubuntu and Ubuntu on Wayland. And Ubuntu is selected by default.

Sorry i wasn't clear about that. I am able to login with gdm3 with user
frans as expected. But next i am getting a Desktop without any Gnome
controls. I still can move the mouse over two screens. But even clicking
on the mouse buttons, doesn't show up any menu, to open up a terminal
for example.

The crash file I see is named "_opt_google_chrome_chrome.1000.crash". This
makes sense because I remember the crash happened when I was browsing on chrome.

creates entries with an icon referring to the Icon entry in the desktop
file for the snap, which for chromium (and all snaps) contains the
versioned revision:

Alexis, the problem you're describing is definitely the automatic update
mechanism that results in gnome-shell loosing track of the running
instance of chromium.
I strongly suggest you run:
