sure how to manage the other projects in this bug report.

I can't reproduce this. Are you able to see the same behavior if you try
on a LiveCD, or in a guest session?

I had this issue come up as well and found that Jonathan's solution in
#8 worked for me. Disabling RabbitMQ fixed the issue and I was able to
shut down normally.
