if you want a lighter weight default. Depends is definitively too
strong, though.
I think it's a good enough compromise. kubuntu-desktop depends on
libreoffice-kde, so only the GTK-based derivatives like Xubuntu do not

I am not quite sure what you are saying.
If it were themeable there would be no bug report for making it
themable. So you are confirming the bug but marking it wont fix? I
believe I even suggested a rather straight forward solution to make it
themable, so I am rather interested in why it won't be
