modifying /etc/motd during boot

Simple question: I've got a simple little script to take the top 3 things from my todo list and put them into /etc/motd. Where should I put this script in the boot process? Phill -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?

ntfs mount errors

s xp as vfat you can write to it. Even more sceptical. If you are willing to recompile it for me I'd try it. I can't afford to loose that data, so I would back it up first. Thanks for your help Stephan. Doug and others too. This beats windoze help/obfuscation hands down! Phill >
