Hi all,
I'd like to install Woody on a motherboard with SATA RAID, using the
RAID 1 array as the root partition. The problem is that the neccessary
driver (silraid) is in 2.4.22, but not in 2.4.18 (which as we all know is the
Debian install kernel).
Any suggestions? This is for a server that ne

Hi all,
I'd like to set up exim as a backup MX for a friend's domain. Any tips on
doing this? I was going to put the domain in local_domains in exim.conf,
and have a catchall in /etc/aliases. But how do I forward the queued
mail to his server when it comes back up?

Hi all,
I load the ft3xx module in my startup initrd, to enable me to continue
booting from my Promise Fasttrak 376 SATA RAID controller. This worked
great with the bf24 install, which created an initrd in
/boot/initrd.debinstall, which I have used with every subequent kernel
that I've compiled.

I think I'm ready to upgrade my main desktop machine from stable.

Anyone having problems with grip in unstable? When I hit "rip and
