I've just ugraded from sarge to sid and using aptitude. I tried to install
galeon. However, aptitude reported errors and so I tried to remove it
using aptitude, dpkg -P, and apt-get remove. All of these produce the

For testing purposes I am trying to run binaries compiled for SCO OpenServer
by using the iBCS emulator said to support this.
However I find certain difficulties in compiling the iBCS itself.
What I first did was install the ibcs-base and ibcs-source-2.2 on Debian

When you started the install did you use bf24 to use the 2.4 Kernel? I had
the same issues at home on my i810 until I used that command to start the
install.

I'm trying to install Debian woody (3.0r2) onto a new hard drive (WD1800JB,
180Gig Western Digital) in a new computer. It is the only hard drive in the
machine, and the only other IDE device is DVD+R dr
One of the Pentium 4 box, when I instaled the Debian linux, I got
nano_1.0.6_2_i386.deb corrupt error and I am unable to proceed further with
installation.
I tried multiple times and I could not succeed. I could install debian on other
Pentium3 systems using the same CD without any problem.
