Assuming I can't get help like you did from a forum, I'd do:
- switch back to IDE
- set MODULES=most
- regenerate the initrd
- switch back to AHCI
- set MODULES=dep
- regenerate the initrd

I found had been set to IDE instead of AHCI. I changed it to AHCI, which makes
Grub load sooner, and probably Linux I/O more efficient. Fedo
