Assuming I can't get help like you did from a forum, I'd do:
- switch back to IDE
- set MODULES=most
- regenerate the initrd
- switch back to AHCI
- set MODULES=dep
- regenerate the initrd
This is a kind of general recipe for what to do when "it doesn't boot
any more with my old initrd that was generated with MODULES=dep".
