I have a frozen system working, with kernel 2.2.15 and lsmode shows: serial, sg, ide_scsi, ppp, slhc I have ATAPI CDROM DRIVE 36-X and HP CD-Writer +7200 both in the secondary IDE controller. When I try to run cdrecord, or xcdroast I get the message that I have to implement generic scsi support. Do
