checked they didn't support radeon 7500 series... The first card to be supported was radeon 8500... If you think the nVidia Drivers are tough. ATI's will be even better (or worse, depending on your view). Me, I just always get nVidia cards. They are a known evil, ATIs Radeons aren'

I recently purchased an ATI Radeon 7500 over a GEForce because of the opensouce support. The ATI Radeon is supported by XFree86 according to #283 on http://www.xfree86.org/cvs/changes.html I am running XFree86 4.1.0-7 (unstable). I have compiled in DRI and Radeon support in the 2.4.12
