server so that it also delivers DHCP option 12 -
hostname info. Then, I included the script below into
/etc/dhcp/dhclient-enter.d/
This arrangement appears do be working fine - my debian box (the
staging one) does gets its hostname and dnsdomainname from DHCP lease
at boot time.
Now, my questions:

Hell to all,
I have a simple problem: a newly installed Lenny system does not has a
DNS domainname:
xenhost01:/etc# dnsdomainname
dnsdomainname: Unknown host
xenhost01:~# hostname
xenhost01

Yesterday I upgraded aide to 0.11a-3 and I've had a heck of a time

When I plug my Debian laptop in at work and connect to our DHCP network
it all seems to work: I get DNS servers configured, get a network
connection where I can surf, ssh to other systems, etc., and everything
seems fine.
BUT, when I type "dnsdomainname", it says I have no domain name
After doing some massive upgrades, `dnsdomainname'
doesn't work any more. (Also the lookup for a fully
qualified hostname in `squid').
What should I do ?
