some major weirdness. i compile my own kernel, flavour "piper", so i get kernel-image-2.4.9+piper (this is woody), which installs its modules in /lib/modules/2.4.9/ when i compile alsa-source or pcmcia-source, the modules get placed into /lib/modules/2.4.9+piper/{pcmcia,alsa}, which is neither the
