right, uname -r doesn't give me the flavour too, so the
/etc/modutils/alsa-path file is fine. i am just weirded out that the
modules install in this wrong modules path. in fact, i think i
remember that kernel-packages made on potato would do the same and
that's changed under woody. the make-kpkg has a bug which i should
report, if you can confirm this in any way...
