I think what happens is there is kind of a "link" that needs to be broken.
That is, the cross tools should not replace my actual running environment at
all.
I think that is implied wrong in some of the packages, because they don't have
in mind cross
I don't think so ! I think debian will support python3 sooner or later, and
give up python2 . This is a question of time . So although python-xlib upstream
did not have update , if there is a need for it , I think there will be someone

After my dist-upgrade to woody, I had the problem that my locales were gone
(Messages were: locale not supported by c library...) This was fixed after
re-generating the locales. Now, the c library does not complain about the
locales anymore, but Xlib still is: (Warning: locale not

I 'v got a problem, probably caused by an update. On my system
potato was (now it's woody with exactly the same problem) running.
Something seems not to be correct with xlib or the locales stuff.
e.g. emacs gives me some warning:
