Because of a newer graphics card, after installing Debian 2.1 (slink) from CDs I had to update my X11 software to XFree86 3.3.5. While most things seem to work fine, xdm login startup seems to ignore the list in window-managers, and keeps starting (ugh) twm instead of my indicated default. The X
