Maybe my net troubles were related to the kernel compile.
I booted with the Linux install disk, opened up a shell, and manually
mounted my Linux root filesystem. I then created a directory called
"old" and moved everything into it. There were no other files or
directories starting with 'o' so it
My computer has Woody installed and I update it every few weeks to the
latest in unstable. Right now its mouse and networking are dead and I
need help.
I had it set up and working great. The mouse worked, and the Internet
worked. It booted to gdm and I had great fun in GNOME, surfing with
