What I used to do while running "stable" plus some packages from
"testing" was this:
1. I installed and _use_ aptitude as frontend. This makes it
simpler to follow dependencies.
2. In aptitude, I select Options > Dependency Handling and change
"Install suggested/recommended packa

The xserver problem is solved. I commented the memory size and the
framebufferdevice, typed startx and it was solved.
But I still don't have 3d acceleration, now I want to replace the geforce 2
with a card that supports Debian. What is a good card?

With ifconfig lo does not show up.
