I would configure the printer through the cups printer dialog. Try
opening the browser on http://localhost:631
You might have to change the administration authentication in
/etc/cups/cupsd.conf

I need some help to get my printer working. Yes, I've read the CUPS
Administration manual and searched Google. Either the answers aren't
