I'm having a strange (at least to me) problem with my soundcard & Potato:
First my Setup:
- Potato (Debian GNU/Linux 2.2r0)
- libc6 from the testing distribution, along with it's dependencies
- Ximian
I have, unsucessfully, for the past few weeks been trying to get sound
working under X.
The trouble is this, I have initialized the sound drivers (sound, uart401,
and sb), and can get sound to work from the console. However, whenever I
use an X program (xanim, RealPlayer, x11amp, etc.), I cannot g
