I use sid anyway (just used a squeeze dvd to install the system), but I

from Sony). The Sony Vaio Alps Touchpad was getting crazy (at least to my

module. It was less than 1/2 the price I would have paid for the
"genuine Sony" module. If you need RAM, go to www.kingston.com and

I'm trying to install from the debian GNU/Linux release 2.1 CDROM.
The CDROM is the Sony PCGA-CD5, the vaio-branded PCMCIA CDROM.
The Vaio boots from the CDROM with the Linux install CD in it, and
starts the installation - but when it gets to the "Install Base OS
