Hi!
I use Iceweasel 3.0.9 on Squeeze to read my gmail. Frequently I need
to scroll down and click below the knob on the scrollbar to move one
page down.

I'm using galeon 0.11.0-1.1 from unstable, and it doesn't have

I'm pretty sure the prior version of galeon I was using had them.
Anyone noticed the same?

Hi,
I am using slink. I remember I after I upgraded from hamm to slink the
scrollbar in Xman was solid grey. At some point this changed. Now they are
white with "dotted" lines. These "dotted" lines are all over the gui
actually, around "Options" and "Section" also. I have seen the same on other

Hi, all,
OK, I figured out that the cause of my 'problem' is the Xaw3dg package
required by gv. I've read all the documentation regarding scrollbars and
even tried downloading the sources from ftp.x.org, but the directions
given in /usr/doc/Xaw3dg/scrollbars didn't w

OK, this is not the *weightiest* of issues, but... :)
After a recent upgrade, all my scrollbars went from smooth, dark grey
ones, to clear ones with fuzzy edges. I searched the mailing list
archives and found nothing about this. I also did a 'man scrollbar' on

Is there any way to get *good* scrollbars in an xterm window? I've

I think the same thing goes wrong. I've not installed 1.3 yet, but I think
another option it provides is to turn off the arrows at the top and botton

Well, it looks like xaw3d is going to have 3d scrollbars, like 'em or not,
as soon as it gets upgraded from version 1.2a.
So I'm inclined to drop my idea of making a seperate package that has
these scrollbars enabled. I'll probably still make it for my own use and
place it
it. (Provided that Joost Witteveen, the
maintiner of xaw3d doesn't want to do so instead -- Joost?)
There's no need to recompile xterm or any other program that uses the
athena widgets for the xaw3d with pretty scrollbars to take effect. It's a
drop-in replacement. If anyone's in
Joey,
It would be nice to have an xaw3d-scrollbars.deb package. Especially if
you also make packages for xterm-3dscrollbars and xterm-color-3dscrollbars
to go with it.

Something I've been missing ever since I came to debian was a set of xaw3d
libraries that gave athena scrollbar widgits a nice 3-d appearence to go
