dbus-1 will be removed anyway
you should recompile package, which depends on dbus-1 with new version
of dbus (0.60)
or you can install them from unstable
Or you can wait untill dbus 0.60 transition ends, and all packages
will be recompiled agains dbus 0.60 and hal 0.5.*

The latest dpkg upgrade seems to have removed the force-overwrite
feature from apt, which is normally set in the unstable branch, but
removed when it comes to stable.
Add the lines:
DPkg

Options {"--force-overwrite";}
}
to the file /etc/apt/apt.conf (or create one if it don't e
Yes, I already tried that. I put both packages on the install command
line, and it still didn't work. Anyway since then I have fixed things
by going into dselect and making some changes, and then doing an
'apt-get dist-upgrade'. Everything's up to date now, with no
dependency problems. Thanks fo

That seems kinda silly. It should work that out for itself.

I "fixed" this problem by doing:
apt-get install libgnomeprint-bin libgnomeprint-data
The trick is to have both packages in the same install command.

We are working on a package ordering mechanism, and are giving
