Unfortunately it's not U3 drive, but USB disk pro something. I haven't
been able to find a way to remove it from my pendrive.
I will try to write an udev rule, however it will work only on my system ...

I wouldn't worry about it unless you intend to keep doing it for 10
years without ever getting a new stick.

Just a quick update:
This appears to be a KDE problem. I just mounted the USB stick
successfully under gnome.

In that case, I'd have to suggest turning on the verbose debugging for USB
and seeing if you can figure out what's up at the low level. Of course,
this is probably not worth your while since you can get a new one for $20
or so online

This may not be your only problem, but it probably is one of them.
You're trying to *read* from your memory stick here, not write to it. If
you want to blank the memory stick, you need to use the prior command:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb
