I do wget ftp://bla.bla.bla.bla/file Error: Proxy ftp://proxy.one.two.three:3128/ must be HTTP. When I do wget http://bla.bla.bla.bla/file - OK, this works. In .wgetrc: # You can set the default proxy for Wget to use. It will override the # value in the environment.
