See the manual for details. The culprit is most probably -O. You are downloading several files: wget can't make one big html file out of that mess (at least not without breaking anything). If you let go of option -O, wget will create a directory hierarchy mirroring the URL hierarchy, and -k will take care of fixing internal links.
