I'll be moving soon, and temporarily slumming it on dialup, bleagh. I set up an account on a low-cost dial-up ISP (they confirm connection is bog-standard, and no special software is required). I also installed wvdial and set up the account. Wvdial requires root to run !!! Testing it from roo
