I think this problem has combie but i can't find it on google.
I try to use LDAP on proftpd. The problem is that the chiled dies with
signal 11.
The installation is a standard woody installation.
The version is a
debian:~# proftpd -vv
- Version: 1.2.5rc1 (release)
- Internal Version: 010
fully the first solution will work (with pam_unix).

has anyone succeeded at running latest proftpd-ldap on woody ?
Everytime I make it lookup the ldap server it silently
segfaults. There's no problem if I disable ldap lookups, so it can
authenticate the regular users (in /etc/passwd), but if I enable ldap
it segfaults.
