i cannot install lenny in a compaq server with smart array 642.
the array and the disks are detected, but there is no entry for cciss in /dev.
in /proc/modules i can see cciss module is "loading" and ps shows modprobe and
/lib/udev/vol_id --export /dev/.tmp-104-0 in D < status
I have finally confirmed that the problem was the ath5k driver (stays up
days without it, crashes, usually within a day, with it). Upgrading the
the latest trunk kernel (2.6.29) seems to have fixed it.

sid) to load its font support modules.
The modules (basically the drivers that allow it to use a given font
format like Type1 or TrueType) live in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts.

the kernel is looking for rtc.o and isn't finding it...
in the future, you can find the device for a particular major/minor number
from /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt.

managed to boot with new kernel but I got several 'unresolved symbols in
/lib/2.2.15/misc/something.o' messages (where something's are module names).
What should I do to get rid of those messages?

You'll need the kernel-source and pcmcia-source packages.
Configure the kernel by running "make config" in
/usr/src/linux. Then build the modules by executing "debian/rules
binary-modules" in the /usr/src/modules/pcmcia-cs directory.
Finally, install the resulting package using "dpkg --install
pcmc

I'm running FoxPro for SCO in linux using ibcs2 module,
almost everything is going right except for some garbage
in the screen. FoxPro documentation advice to pass some
parameters in systems diferent to SCO, but it doesn't fix
my problem. Is there someone who can help me.
