2.6.8.2-686 kernel (as offered by the standard
DVD install program of Sarge).

Hi
I would like to install the nvidia drivers on my laptop. I found a
HOWTO that looks very nice on
http://home.comcast.net/~andrex/Debian-nVidia/installation.html
Before starting with the installation I wanted to install all required
packages to see if everything would go as easy as it is descr
1) install kernel headers debian package for you kernel
2) create symlink /usr/src/linux which points to the appropiate kernel
headers directory for your current kernel in my case its
/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.4.22-1-k7
(the kernel headers directorys are in /usr/src)
