Hello. Whilst the above scenario relates to Debian 8, what is the nVidia device that you have in your laptop? I have not yet resolved a problem with a system that I have, that involves an nVidia GEForce GT-750M, and, if your nVidia device happened to be the same, perhaps, when a solution to your problem is found, it may also solve my problem, in previous versions of Debian.. -- Bret Busby Armadale West Australia ..............
