I have an HP 2055DN printer connected to an office network. I have two
XP workstations and two Windows 7 workstations all running a proprietary
Windows-only package. For some reason, the XP computers can't print
directly to the printer via the network but are able to print to through
a Debian/S
I have a HP LJ5M connected directly to the network.
I configured everything as described in HowTo and on THAT day it worked
fine!
After rebooting my computer I can:
telnet to the printer and change any parameters I wish.
check with lpq that:
Printer: lj-5 is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
JetDirect lpd: no en
